A drain snake (cable) punches through a soft blockage and gets water moving again — perfect for a single fixture or a quick fix. Hydro jetting is different: a high-pressure water stream scours the full diameter of the pipe, cutting through grease, scale, and root intrusion and leaving the line as close to clean as it gets. For recurring main-line backups, jetting is what actually solves the problem.
